Riverside - Housing Association offers Reassurance to Tenants During Adverse Weather Conditions

Riverside Carlisle is currently in the process of contacting its customers to check on their well being during the prolonged cold weather.

The decision to make contact with tenants was made by the Housing Association as sub zero temperatures continue to affect Carlisle and the local area. Paul Taylor, Head of Operations has been managing the process. He said, “At this point in time we are mostly concerned with the health and well being of people; especially those who are particularly vulnerable.”

He continued, We are calling all of our Careline customers to check that they are ok and to see if we can help in any way. We are also signposting people to relevant agencies where necessary.”

“We have members of staff deployed from other areas of the business who are making contact with people. We would also urge members of the public to be vigilant in keeping an eye on neighbours who they feel may be vulnerable.”
