Riverside - Riverside Carlisle Seeks views of Residents for Housing Development Proposal

Riverside Carlisle will next week be consulting with local residents on plans for a proposed housing development off Etterby Road, Carlisle.

Riverside Carlisle is proposing to build a new affordable housing development in Etterby. The proposed development will include 2 bedroom semi detached bungalows and 2, 3 and 4 bedroom semi detached houses.

Mally Irving is the Development and Leasehold Manager at Riverside Carlisle. He explained, “The properties are to be predominantly for social rent with the remainder to be offered for shared ownership.”

“We are looking for the views of local residents as they are very important to us and will be considered when we are finalising our designs. Once we have carefully considered all comments, the proposals will be developed and submitted to Carlisle City Council for planning approval.”
